These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed in the online shop everparent.ae. Please read them before you order. You can save or print them at any time.
1. Seller and scope
Your contract partner is DANBIA LLC, Limited Liability Company, Shams Business Center, Sharjah Media City (Shams) Free Zone, Al Messaned, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, trade license no. 2432918.01 (Sharjah Media City – Shams), tax registration number (TRN) 104855191300003, email info@everparent.ae (“we”, “us”).
The shop is aimed at consumers in the United Arab Emirates. Our country of domicile is the United Arab Emirates. We sell and deliver only within the United Arab Emirates. Different terms of the customer apply only if we expressly agree to them in writing.
2. Who can order
To order, you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. With your order you confirm this. Orders for a child, for example as a gift, are placed by the adult who orders.
3. Our products
We sell personalized products of our own brand EverParent, which are made for you only after your order:
- personalized baby book “Your First Year”, as hardcover or softcover;
- personalized kids art book from your child’s drawings, as hardcover or softcover;
- kids art collage “Little Gallery” from your child’s drawings, as a poster without a frame.
Our print partner Gelato prints the products in the United Arab Emirates. The product pages describe size, number of pages, paper and binding. Colors on screen may differ slightly from the printed result.
4. How the contract is concluded
The products in the shop are not a binding offer but an invitation to order. The order process is as follows:
- You choose a product and its options. For the baby book you enter the name, check it in the live preview and confirm the spelling.
- You add the product to the cart and go to the checkout.
- You enter your billing and delivery address and choose a payment method.
- You check the order summary and accept these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
- With the button “Place order and pay” you place a binding order and confirm the payment.
Until you click this button you can correct your entries at any time in the cart, at checkout or with your browser’s back button, or cancel the process.
Immediately after your order you receive an order confirmation by email. With this confirmation we accept your order and the contract is concluded. We store your order. You receive the order details and these Terms & Conditions with the order confirmation. If you have a customer account, you can see your orders there.
You can use the shop in Arabic, English, Russian or German and receive the order confirmation in the language you use. These Terms & Conditions are available in all four languages (section 16).
5. Personalization, preview and approval
Baby book. You enter the name on the product page and confirm that you have checked the spelling. This confirmation is your approval: the name is printed exactly as you entered it. If you notice a mistake, write to us within 12 hours of your order at info@everparent.ae; we will then change the name free of charge.
Kids art book and Little Gallery. After payment we send you a personal link by email. There you upload photos of the drawings and enter the name and texts. Within two business days of your upload we send you a preview. You can approve it or request a change. One round of corrections is included in the price. We will discuss any further changes with you first.
We print only after your approval and exactly as you approved it. Please check names, dates and texts carefully. Content that you approved, such as the spelling of a name, is the agreed content of the product. Your rights in the case of printing or processing defects remain unaffected.
If we do not receive your drawings or your approval, we remind you by email. If we still have not received anything 12 months after payment, we cancel the order and refund the purchase price.
6. Your drawings and texts
When you upload drawings and enter texts, you confirm that you are entitled to use them, for example as a parent of the child who drew them, and that they do not infringe the rights of others or the law of the United Arab Emirates.
You allow us and our print partner Gelato to process the drawings and texts for the preview, printing and delivery of your order. You keep all rights to them. We do not use them for advertising or other purposes. We show your finished product in the shop or on our social media profiles only if you give your separate, express consent when uploading. You can withdraw this consent at any time.
We may refuse to print content that is unlawful or offensive. In this case we tell you and you can send other content or cancel the order with a full refund.
7. Cancellation and changes before and after approval
Before your approval you can change your order or cancel it free of charge. Write to info@everparent.ae with your order number. If you cancel, we refund the full purchase price. Baby book: you approve the name when you order. Within 12 hours of your order you can still change the name or cancel the order free of charge; after that it goes to print.
After your approval we pass your product on for printing. It is made only for you and cannot be sold to anyone else. From this point the order can no longer be changed or canceled. Your rights in the case of defects, wrong products, damage in transit or late delivery remain unaffected (sections 10 and 11).
8. Prices and tax invoice
All prices are in UAE dirhams (AED) and include 5 % value added tax (VAT). Shipping within the United Arab Emirates is free. There are no further costs. The VAT amount is shown in the order summary and in the order confirmation.
For every order you receive a tax invoice (“Tax Invoice”) with our tax registration number by email.
9. Payment
Payment is made through our payment provider Stripe by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard), Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link. The purchase price is due when you place the order and is charged to your chosen payment method. We do not offer payment on invoice, cash on delivery or installments. Details are on our page Payment.
10. Delivery
We deliver only to addresses in the United Arab Emirates. The delivery time is shown on the product page. It starts with your approval, for the baby book with your order. Details are on our page Shipping & Delivery.
If we cannot deliver within the stated time, we inform you without delay. You can then cancel the order and receive a full refund, unless the delay is caused by you.
11. Defects, returns and refunds
Every product is made to your specifications. It therefore cannot be returned or exchanged if you simply change your mind. This does not apply if the product is defective, incomplete or damaged, does not match your approved preview or the description, or is not the product you ordered. In these cases you choose whether we reprint the product free of charge or refund the purchase price. Please send us a photo to info@everparent.ae within 30 days of noticing the defect. Your statutory rights under the consumer protection law of the United Arab Emirates remain unaffected.
12. Liability
We are liable in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your right to compensation or any other right that you have under consumer protection law.
13. AI assistant Teddy
Teddy answers questions about our products and orders with the help of artificial intelligence. Its answers may contain mistakes. The information on the product page, in your order confirmation and in these Terms & Conditions is binding.
14. Questions and complaints
If you have a question or a complaint, please write to info@everparent.ae or use the contact form, with your order number if you have one. We confirm receipt by email, answer within two business days and keep you informed until the matter is resolved.
You can also contact the competent consumer protection authority in the United Arab Emirates, for example the Ministry of Economy and Tourism.
15. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions and all contracts concluded under them are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes are decided by the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates, in particular the courts of the Emirate of Sharjah, unless mandatory law provides for a different court. There is no arbitration.
16. Language versions
These Terms & Conditions are available in Arabic, English, Russian and German. If the versions differ, the Arabic version prevails.
17. Changes
We may change these Terms & Conditions for future orders. The version that applies to your order is the one valid at the time of your order; you receive it with your order confirmation.
